Many Students are confused after 10th on what to pursue and when finally decided to take on Science there comes the concept of General Science and Bifocal.
In General Science the subjects you're going to study are,
- English
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Maths / Psychology
- Marathi, Hindi, French, Sanskrit etc (ANY ONE)
In Bifocal subjects are,
- English
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Maths
- Vocational Subject (Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical etc) (ANY ONE)
In General Science, there is an option of taking Maths/Psychology cause if you take GS then you can either be a doctor or engineer thus if you want to take medical no need of maths just take on psychology if you're thinking of pursuing engineering then you need maths thus don't take psychology along with this you'll be taking an additional second language to study be it Hindi, Marathi etc (ANY ONE)
Whereas in bifocal you don't have the second language nor do you have biology instead you'll be studying a vocational subject like Electronics, Computer Science etc ANYONE, it will be 200 Marks subject. By taking bifocal you can only pursue engineering in the future but there is a catch let say if you take Computer Science in your Jr.College (11th & 12th) but you need not take computer engineering you can take any field of your choice, bifocal gives you the benefit of taking glims of a field you're interested in and what will you study four years downline in it, if you wish to continue in that subject.
10th is the turning point because this is where you will be selecting your field whether you want engineering or medical or any other after HSC in Science.
